The Oracle has been the voice of the NSCHS Spartans since 1963, winning numerous awards in its 60 years of existence for both editorial content and design. The Oracle is an entirely student-produced publication, and is read by staff members, students and their families, district employees, and by various community members.
Serving a diverse student population and a wide-ranging audience, The Oracle covers on-campus and off-campus news, entertainment, and sports events. The newspaper also highlights our school’s accomplishments, and provides a place for students to voice opinions.
In 2014, The Oracle continued its tradition of innovation by going digital, becoming the newspaper’s full-time home.
In 2026, the Oracle website was rebranded NSCreativity.com, and continues to host creative material previously published online from its sister publication, Echo Literary Magazine, in addition to hosting the archive of Oracle material published online between 2014-2026.
