North Springs and Mingde High School participate in Cultural Exchange

As part of North Springs High School’s relationship with Mingde High School, located in China, 13 Chinese students participated in a cultural exchange program, mirroring North Springs’ sending of some students to Mingde during the 2014-2015 school year. Freshman Class Council Finalized

With a new grade of freshmen students coming into North Springs, elections were necessary to determine who would represent the students on student government. Positions available included President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Historian, and up to 15 representatives. Spartans trump Wildcats in opening scrimmage

The North Springs Spartans shutout the Dunwoody Wildcats at home with a final score of 28-0 on Friday, August 14th. While this game was only a scrimmage and did not count, it was well attended by both Spartans and Wildcats alike. APRIL FOOLS: North Springs to merge with Riverwood in 2016

Helena Weibel and Ross McLane win Georgia Tech Presidential Scholarship

Two North Springs students, Ross McLane and Helena Weibel, are recent winners of the prestigious Georgia Tech Presidential Scholarship. With this award, Weibel and McLane will be able to go to Georgia Tech for all four years with full tuition covered. Along with full tuition, students get priority housing, fees covered, and all meals. Every year nearly 12,000 students apply for the Presidential Scholarship.
