Students: As you come back into the building, it’s important to remember the PROS expectations for success that come with being in the building.
- Wearing a mask is still district policy. This is a non-negotiable at this point. Students who cannot wear a mask consistently and correctly will be returned to virtual learning. Masks must be worn correctly at all times on the buses, in the classroom, in the hallways, and in the common areas.
- Students can remove their mask in the lunchroom while seated, but must put it back on whenever they move around. As the pandemic is reaching new heights daily, keeping our students and staff safe becomes incredibly important, and mask wearing has been shown to mitigate the risk significantly.
- We have adopted a zero-tolerance policy for students that do not wear masks correctly and have to be told repeatedly to wear the mask correctly. This will result in students losing the opportunity to come into the building for in-person learning.
- Listen to teachers and staff as you move through the halls. We all want to do our part to be PROS!

Additional expectations:
- With the bells turned back on, we will start actively monitoring student tardies, and enforcing the tardy policy that we had before the pandemic. Consequences for tardies include; verbal warning, lunch detention, ISS, and as a last resort, a return to virtual learning.
- Caps, hats and hoods are not to be worn in the building. This is a district wide policy. We will ask students to remove/take the items off once, but further incidents can result in a student being placed in ISS or being returned to virtual learning.
- The student dress code is still in place. Students are expected to wear clothes that are appropriate for school. Clothes that would be considered a violation of the dress code include:
- Shirts that show bare midriffs.
- Pants not worn around the waist.
- Clothes that show inappropriate language, weapons or drug paraphernalia.

New County Outdoor Policy
During the latest School Board Meeting, FCS announce changes to the mask wearing policy for high schools when students and adults are outdoors.
- For outdoor activities only, masks will be recommended but not required for students in grades 9-12 and employees in high schools.
- All other safety protocols will remain in effect for this group of individuals.
- At school sponsored outdoor events and activities, masks will be recommended but not required for visitors/spectators.
- Capacity limitations are lifted on all outside school venues (stadiums, fields, etc.).
- Coaches may attend offsite banquets.
- This only applies to FCS facilities, and does not supersede any other facility’s rules.
All other existing COVID-19 risk mitigation strategies will remain enforce for the balance of the 2020-21 school year. This includes requiring all staff, students and visitors to wear a mask while inside an FCS facility, and adhere to recommended social distancing, surface sanitizing, and handwashing.
