“I’m proud to announce that senior Nina Schwelm’s short play Across the Sea has been selected as one of the three winning plays for the state competition sponsored by the Georgia Film Academy!

Nina developed the play in my Dramatic Writing course during the fall semester where I was lucky enough to help her workshop and develop this beautiful story. 

Plays for over 70 schools across the state were judged by a panel of 4 industry professionals.  The three winning plays will received staged Zoom readings later this year starring professional actors.
