It’s Super Tuesday, and our students share their views about the 2024 Presidential Race.

“I do not have a political opinion, but whoever is elected for the position,
I hope will help to benefit the country in ways like keeping it safe and
informed.” -Sophia Berghoff

“Well for one, the only ones that I know on the candidates list are
Trump and President Biden. As for the others, I don’t know them or their goals
once they are President. However, with research, I found out that he supports
rights for abortion. And for me, I really support that law. As for the others,
I couldn’t be bothered about them and what they stand for.” -Alexis Justice

“I don’t think that any of the candidates are good options for presidency; however, I would say that Nikki Haley seems to be the best option for me, as she has a younger and newer perspective on certain subjects. This does not go to say that I agree with everything she says.” -Pari Kahlon

“Haley’s wanting to raise the retirement age is not the way to go; as you get older you need a break and having people work until some of their last moments can lead to serious problems in health, emotional status, and work.” -Jaela Kennedy

“Although I don’t like Trump personally, in the 2024 election, I feel like
beyond the choices, he’s far off better to leading our country again. But then
again, to have a woman candidate isn’t a surprise, but I’d like to see where
that would go if Nikki Haley got elected.”  -China Cloutier

“I think the 2024 election has a good race going. Although the two main
candidates are on the older side, I do think change [would] be good toward our
country. We need to be built back and stronger. I think election years are
always the most stressful, not for just adults but kids, too. Opinions get
strung out and fights start to boil. I think a new, stronger President will

“I’m in the middle of Republican and Democratic, so whoever seems fit for that criteria should win, in my opinion.” -Trinity Davis

“I don’t have any strong opinions about the 2024 election because I don’t like either of the candidates, which at this point are Joe Biden and Donald Trump.” -Inaya Diop

“I’m honestly lost on who should win because I feel like the whole time Joe
Biden’s been President, he really hasn’t done much progress on anything going
on right now. I also don’t completely agree that Trump should be President
again because of how controversial he is, but maybe he might change for the

“I don’t know what Joe Biden or Donald Trump are doing anything for our country. I think Joe Biden is going to win because he’s the current President. Everybody has their own opinion and thinks Trump is a bad person…I do hope that a better candidates make it in the future, though.” -Zaharra Altman
