The Gamble of the Heart

“The Gamble of the Heart”
Emotions roll like dice on the floor,
Each cast uncertain, what’s in store?
A thrill of joy, a whisper of pain,
The fates unknown, like wind and rain
Anger may come with a heavy hand,
Love may bloom like a flower in sand,
Fear may strike with a sudden chill,
While hope rises high, a quiet thrill
We toss them again, seeking control,
But the dice decides, they shape our soul.
In the end, we learn to embrace the roll,
For emotions, like dice, are beyond our hold.
