Upon the Quiet Shores

Upon the quiet shores where shadows dance,
The moonlight bathes the earth in silver glow,
A whispered breeze begins its soft advance,
As time itself seems gentle, sweet and slow.
Beneath the stars, where night and dreams entwine,
The waves recede and murmur to the sand,
Each echo tells of love that’s pure, divine,
A story etched by natures tender hand,
Yet in the depths of night, the heart can stray,
Lost in the dark where doubts and fears arise,
But through the mist, love’s beacon finds its way,
A guiding star within the midnight skies,
So let the winds of fate and time unfold,
For love, once found, will never loose its hold
