The voicemail was short:
“Don’t look outside.”
Confused, she peeked through the blinds anyways.
Her street was empty- except for a figure standing under the streetlight, holding a phone to its ear.
Her own phone buzzed again.
New voicemail-
A whisper this time-
“I said don’t look.”
I’m being hunted down, by what, I do not know. My campsite was torn down in an instant, my friends cut down one by one. I’m alone . . . and all I hear in the distance is “Ahh, fresh meat.” Someone send hellllll . . .
When I was little, we went to a fair. I kept seeing this one creepy clown everywhere we went, just kinda lurking around from a distance.
For somebody dressed as something so cheerful and silly, it was unsettling how deadpan he was.
Every time we’d play a game or ride a ride, if I looked around long enough he’d be just standing in my view, not far from us at all.
Eventually, we called it a night and began walking to the car. On the way out, we saw about five police cars, lights flashing, in the parking lot a couple feet away.
I remember seeing an officer pushing somebody into one of the cars.
I’d never seen a clown in a cop car before.
