North Springs’ HOSA, sponsored by healthcare science teacher Paulette Diener, championed the State Leadership Competition March 6-8 with a total of 13 national finalists.

All thirteen state finalists are eligible to compete at the 2014 National Leadership Conference at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando Florida, June 25-28.
New and veteran members alike are already excited for the national competition.
“Nationals is a great event because members get to meet with other members around the nation,” said Baskaran. “It no longer becomes a competition and everyone is just part of one family.”
Endorsed by the U.S. DOE and the Health Science Education division of ACTE, HOSA provides opportunities for students in high school and beyond to explore and compete in the field of healthcare science and its career possibilities.
