The Lady Spartans have had a great season, with success at multiple meets. On March 13, Janiyah Riley and Layla Keadle earned first place in the 100 meters and pole vault, respectively. Additionally, the team placed second in the 4×100 relay and the team sprint medley. Kierstin Dykes also earned a top-3 finish in the 100 meter hurdles. The next week, Layla earned first place in the pole vault yet again, while Lottie Chappell finished first in the emerging 1600 meters for 9th and 10th graders. The sprint medley of Imaginee Harmon, Ravin Thomas, Janiyah Riley, and Julia Kotora placed third. In the most recent meet, the 4×100 and 4×400 teams placed first, and individually, Layla finished first in pole vault, McKylee won the 300 meter hurdles, and Lottie placed first in both the 800 meters and 1000 meters. Lastly, Janiyah finished first in the long jump. As the season winds down, hopefully the individual and team successes continue.
