This year, the North Springs Oracle Webpaper had four winners in two different individual award categories at this year‘s Georgia Scholastic Association’s spring competition (held virtually).

The Oracle staff swept the Columns category with “Superior” wins for graduate Nelson Cummiskey’s “Cummiskey’s Corner” humor column and Senior Saniaah Hardy’s “It’s OK to Not Be Ok” Teen Health and Wellness column. In addition, the “All Georgia” Award for Column writing went to Junior Veronica Kogan for her “Musicology Corner.”

Freshman Isaac Linnen received a Superior rating in the Review/Critique Individual award category for his film review: “Justice League: An Injustice to Comics.”

In addition, Oracle also received a mark of Excellence in the GSPA annual General Excellence awards.
