Tin Lizzy’s Cantina is a local restaurant that serves Mexican American cuisine. Their food exceeds expectations. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a full dinner, Tin Lizzy’s is the place you should be.
Tin Lizzy’s food is out of this world. It serves unique flavors, from Korean BBQ tacos to their choice of skillets. They are not your average cantina! The first dish I tried was the TL Nachos. These weren’t like any nachos I have ever eaten. Their nachos served a purpose. Their sweet chips were topped with jack cheese and other savory toppings, including cilantro, pico de gallo, black beans, their house-made queso, and sour cream. They scored high in their appearance, toppings, and taste. Their chips were covered with the perfect combination of sweet and salty seasoning and garnished with “just right” toppings. It went above and beyond my appetizer expectations. I almost ordered it as a meal. This appetizer is a must for anyone who visits. It is a detectable and flavorsome dish that you will enjoy when visiting.
The second dish I ordered was the Impossible Taco and Chicken Con Queso Taco. Both were exquisite. Let’s start off with the Impossible Taco! The $6.00 taco was overflowing with flavor! It consists of their original home-seasoned impossible patty, diced tomato, jack cheese, spicy ranch, and shredded romaine. It was unique and tasted like a perfect combination of a burger and a taco. Its’ spiciness, savory flavor, and juiciness kept my stomach wanting more!
Additionally, I ordered their Chicken Con Queso Taco! It was mouthwatering and filled with flavor. The crispiness of the chicken, cheesiness, and spiciness of the jalapenos made this the best taco for me. This taco consists of queso Blanco, buttermilk fried chicken, crispy tortilla strips, pico de gallo, and pickled jalapenos. It was the perfect amount of spice, crunch, and cheesiness. As I was eating this taco, it felt like I was eating a homey southern meal in a hard flour tortilla shell.
Tin Lizzy’s Cantina succeeds in every area. Their menu offers a variety of diverse dishes. This cantina definitely did not let me down, and I promise it won’t let you down either! Whether you’re looking for a place to watch sports while you eat, hang out with family, or just grab a bite, Tin Lizzy’s Cantina is a must-try restaurant for everyone.
